REPLICAS OF SCUNTION WINDOWS

A scuntion window is a wooden window which consist of outer and inner wings with a wooden part – scuntion – in between. This type of windows was mostly used in the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. We deliver scuntion windows mostly for reconstructions of historical buildings. Those windows are really unique and we are able to manufacture very beautiful custom-made replicas. Yet even historical buildings are used for modern purposes, so even these windows need to fulfil all the important characteristics of modern windows.

New manufacturing technologies allow to maintain the original look of the windows while having modern parameters competing with modern plastic or wooden euro windows.

REPLICAS OF INTERIOR DOORS

Historical interior doors are characterised by various elements, such as cassette panels, profiled panels, decorative hinges and decorations on astragals. If there are scuntion windows in your house or cottage, you can have doors manufactured in a similar style. It is possible to choose a copy of an original interior door or to make its replica.

When manufacturing such doors, you can choose between original materials, including ironwork or surface adjustment, and modern components.
